The Institute TIBI provides a variety of offers for students, parents and teachers. The team initiate and support concepts, ideas and projects which are dedicated to the development of the many gifts and potentials of young people. Our main objective is to make every child’s school education a personal success in order to pave the way into an autonomous and responsible life.
The concept of TIBI is based on a dynamic definition of giftedness, which focuses on a professional handling of different performances and achievements in various learning environments. In all our programmes pedagogy and anthropological issues interact. TIBI integrates value discourse as a relevant aspect in an ethically responsible education of the gifted.
TIBI was founded by the Archdiocese of Vienna in cooperation with the Austrian Ministry of Education in 2004. The Institute was incorporated in the Christian University College of Teacher Education Vienna/Krems in 2007.
